Switzerland, man's long duration pocket watch with sweep seconds, going 40 days on a single winding, 8 jewels, key wind and set, damascened rhodium plated bar movement with cylinder escapement in a gilt, coin silver, hinged back and bezel, engraved open face case, with maker's details engraved on cuvette, and Roman numeral with blue outer 5 minute markers white enamel dial, gilt spade and poker hands, 59mm, c1890.

CASE: Dent at 4:00, band; Numerous dings; Engraving with minor wear; Regilded; Minor scratches, chips on crystal; Bow with dings, marks; Crown worn; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Poorly restored. HANDS: Good, minor oxidation on hour. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Rhodium plating flaking, bridges with oxidation; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
